You are a community treasure my friend. If this works, It will be a godsend for me in the future.I have lost count of the number of times when my teammate is typing in chat instead of using their mic, resulting in vital information falling on deaf ears being mid gun fight. If you're forced to look down at the chat window in the middle of a gun fight, you lose.
That sounds like a pretty interesting and potentially useful application, especially for people who may not be able to use voice chat for various reasons but still want to be able to communicate in real time with their team in Valorant.
Developing such a program in Java requires a good understanding of the language and its libraries, so kudos to you for that. The fact that you're willing to make the repo open source if the community shows interest indicates a great attitude towards collaborative development and learning. It would allow others to learn from your work, potentially contribute, and possibly even extend the application to other games or platforms.
As for the end result, it sounds like it could be quite immersive for the other players, hearing the chat come through as voice. That's an interesting way to add another layer to the game's communication system.
Being a girl, this will honestly save me a lot of sanity when not wanting to talk when there are toxic people in my match and risk my mental because of it. I definitely see using this in the future.
